There is a bug with the feature “Power save by monitor” (see description here: ILCE-7CM2 | Help Guide | Power Save by Monitor).
When not recording video, slow motion or timelapse, the camera turns off if i close the lid.
When recording video, slow motion or timelapse, the camera turns off if i close the lid. In this case, as i’m recording, the camera should not turn off but continue recording.
How to reproduce:
- set the feature “Power Save by Monitor” to “Both Linked”
- open the lid
- begin recording a video
- close the lid
Expected: my camera is still recording the video i started.
Actual: my camera turns off and enters power saving, video recording stops.
- open the lid
Camera turns back on, recording is stopped.
